Growing Green Together

Akshardham Central School celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2026, with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers.
As part of the celebration, students brought various plant saplings and planted them in the school campus to promote environmental awareness and greenery. The saplings included Neem, Hibiscus, Rose, Amla, Mango, and Almond plants. The plantation drive encouraged students to understand the importance of trees and their role in protecting the environment.
A special highlight of the day was the inauguration of the Nature Club. Students eagerly enrolled themselves as members of the club and expressed great excitement in becoming part of environmental conservation activities.

To create awareness and inspire creativity, several competitions based on environmental themes were conducted for students. These activities encouraged them to think about environmental protection, sustainability, and the importance of preserving nature for future generations.

The celebration was a great success and helped instill a sense of responsibility and love for nature among the students. The school remains committed to fostering environmental consciousness and promoting eco-friendly practices.
