A DROP OF BLOOD, A GIFT OF LIFE

Akshardham Central School celebrated World Blood Donor Day on 15 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and awareness. Dr. T. Vijaya, Blood Centre Medical Officer, Government Medical College, Villupuram, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the students, Dr. Vijaya highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and explained how a single donation can save multiple lives. The session created awareness among the students about the noble act of donating blood and inspired them to become responsible citizens.
