Investiture Ceremony 2026–2027: Inspiring the Leaders of Tomorrow

Akshardham Central School (CBSE) proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 on 17th July 2026, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council and House Captains. The ceremony reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and service-oriented leaders.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the distinguished dignitaries, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by the hoisting of the Akshardham Central School flag, representing unity, discipline, and pride. Adding grace and significance to the occasion, the dignitaries released a white dove as a symbol of peace, harmony, and hope, inspiring students to embrace these values in their daily lives.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. R. Rajamahendran (MBBS, MS, MRCS, MCh, FMAS) and Guest of Honour Mr. L. Thanesvarun, M.A., Film Making, whose encouraging words motivated the students to lead with integrity, humility, and dedication.
The event was conducted under the able leadership of Principal Dr. K. Pranavan, whose vision continues to foster excellence in both academics and character. The occasion was also graced by Primary In-charge Mrs. Mary Charlotte and Secondary In-charge Mrs. V.Sridevi, whose constant encouragement and guidance have been instrumental in shaping young minds.
One of the most captivating moments of the ceremony was the march past presented by the students of the four houses—Orchids, Gladiolus, Tulips, and Daffodils. Marching with remarkable precision, confidence, and discipline, the students showcased the spirit of teamwork, unity, and determination, earning appreciation from the dignitaries and the audience alike.

Following the march past, the newly elected Student Council members and House Captains were formally invested with their badges of office. They then took the Oath of Office, pledging to uphold the ideals of the school, discharge their duties with sincerity, and serve as exemplary leaders. The oath symbolized their commitment to leading with honesty, responsibility, and compassion.
