A fleet of well-maintained buses, each equipped with GPS tracking and first-aid kits, ensures the secure commute of students. Every bus is supervised by a trained driver and a dedicated female attendant to assist children during the journey.
Transport routes are carefully planned for timely pickup and drop-off, with clear instructions shared with parents. Safety protocols, including regular vehicle checks and emergency response measures, are strictly followed. Parents are encouraged to ensure punctuality at pickup points and inform the school in case of any changes.
To inculcate the habit of reading, we have a dedicated library period once a week for all grades. For Grade I, we follow a class library system where teachers assist students by reading stories aloud, making the sessions interactive and engaging.
For Grades II to IV, students are issued a book to take home for a week, encouraging them to explore different stories and improve their reading skills.
This initiative helps develop a strong reading foundation, enhances imagination, and instills a lifelong love for books.
The Digital Library offers students access to e-books, audiobooks, and online resources, enhancing their reading and research experience. It provides interactive learning materials, reference books, and academic journals, making learning more engaging and accessible.
Under the directives of the Directorate of Education, Tamil Nadu, CCTV Cameras have been installed at the vital locations in the school premises to support the mechanism of surveillance ensuring the safety and security of students and members of the staff. It is a step towards value addition to enables us to be future ready.
It helps maintain transparency, prevent untoward incidents, and ensure a quick response in emergencies. These security measures reflect our commitment to student welfare and create a safe learning environment.
Play zone at AKSHARDHAM CENTRAL SENIOR SECONDARY School, keeps the students entertained. Their smiles go wider as they enjoy the thrilling rides. These rides help child develop physical co- ordination, strength, flexibility as well as providing recreation and enjoyment. The social skills that the children develop while playing, often become lifelong skill sets that are carried forward into their adulthood.
Most forms of play are essential for healthy development, but free, spontaneous play is the most beneficial type of play. Exciting, engaging and challenging equipping is important to keep children happy while still developing their learning abilities

Students of Primary classes are exposed to audio visual education with the help of L.C.D. Projector at least once a week. The film shows are arranged keeping in mind the requirements of each class. The school has a big hall which is equipped with latest flood lights, spot lights, colour wheels, halogen lamps, dimmer boards, curtains etc.
