Bright Smiles, Healthy Lives: An Oral Health Initiative
An Oral Health Screening Programme was successfully conducted at Akshardham Central School on 22 August 2026 for the students of Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12, in association with the Indian Dental Association, Tamil Nadu.
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of oral health, proper dental hygiene and regular dental check-ups. A distinguished team of dental professionals conducted comprehensive oral health screenings and provided valuable guidance to the students.
The dental team included Dr. Bobby Kurian, Dr. Quraiselvi, Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Ramya, Dr. Suresh, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Deepika and Dr. Sivagangai. Their dedicated service and interaction with the students made the programme informative and beneficial.
The students received guidance on maintaining proper oral hygiene, developing healthy dental habits and taking preventive measures to ensure good oral health. The screening also helped students become more conscious of the importance of early detection and regular dental care.
