Mock Parliament Day – A Proud Learning Moment for Our Children

On 10th December 2025, Akshardham Central School conducted a meaningful and exciting Mock Parliament Session for our students. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to understand how our country’s Parliament works and how important decisions are discussed and made. Our students participated with great enthusiasm, taking up roles as elected members of the Parliament. The main topic of discussion was the Union Budget, and the children spoke confidently about national development, public welfare, education, and economic planning. It was inspiring to see them think deeply, present their ideas clearly, and listen respectfully to others.

The session was observed by our Principal Dr. K. Pranavan, and Primary Incharge Mrs. Mary Charolette, who appreciated the children’s efforts, discipline, and the maturity they showed during the proceedings.

Events like this help our students:

  • Build confidence in speaking and expressing ideas
  • Learn teamwork and respect for different viewpoints
  • Understand real-life governance and citizenship
  • Develop leadership qualities and social awareness

We are proud of every child who participated and made the event a success.
