About the Sports
The aim of physical education program is to develop healthy individuals who are physically, mentally, emotionally, socially & spiritually mature enough to adjust themselves to all kinds of situations and surroundings to meet the daily challenges of life.
A host of outdoor and indoor games offered to students in the school are Athletics, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Kho- Kho, Handball, Throw ball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Taekwondo, Carom and Yoga, archery silamabmetc.
At the Primary level, the students are encouraged to learn the fundamental skills of the game and imbibe the values of courage, strength and persistence. At higher levels, the students are exposed to competitive settings and made to follow the rules and regulations steadfastly.


The students unleash their indomitable spirit, mental toughness and incredible potential to emerge as the champions of the field.
We, at ACS , give an equal opportunity to each student to participate in sports activities to develop his/her personality. The students participate in various competitions at different levels namely- Inter-house, Inter-school, and even Inter-state, National and International. The School believes in the overall development of the students and therefore, provides excellent sports facilities to its students under the guidance of trained physical education teachers and professional coaches. The students receive training in the games of their choice and become motivated to participate enthusiastically in sports competitions.
Yoga
Different asanas and shlokas are introduced to cater to the students’ physical as well as
mental health in their growing age.
Games
Activities such as various types of races, passing the ball with variations; age appropriate group games etc. are conducted.
Taekwondo
Different types of punches, kicks and blocks are introduced as basic self defense
techniques.
