Inauguration of the English Lounge
On 2nd August 2025 with great pride and literary spirit, our school inaugurated the “English Lounge”, a creative and inspiring space dedicated to nurturing language, literature, and communication skills among students.
The event marked the beginning of our English Week Celebration, designed to spark enthusiasm for reading, writing, and public speaking. The celebration began with a warm welcome followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. We were honored to have Mrs. Mugilarasi Shankaran (M.A., B.Ed., SET, JRF, NET) as the Chief Guest for the occasion. In her thought-provoking address, she emphasized the importance of language as a tool for empowerment and expression, encouraging students to immerse themselves in literature and develop their voice.
As part of the English Week, a range of literary competitions like Essay Writing, Recitation, Grammar quiz, Poem Writing and Poster Making were launched, aiming to sharpen student’s linguistic abilities and creative thinking.
